Jed’s A Millionaire – Musician Spotlight – Mad Indie Media

Jed’s a Millionaire is back with another uplifting and inspiring release, “The Beautiful Ones”. The 6-track EP was released Summer 2020. The Pheonix Arizona area band began creating music and playing shows in the greater area since the early 2000s. Influenced by the likes of The Police, Bruce Springsteen, Wilco, The Talking Heads, and other influential rock bands of the ’70s & ’80s. Jed’s a millionaire are no strangers to the limelight having opened up for bands such as Puddle of Mudd and the Beach Boys and performing as the backing band for Alice Cooper at a Hall of Fame appearance, the group certainly know their way around a stage.

Since relocating to LA/Hollywood Jed’s a Millionaire perform locally and well known and established venues such as Whisky A Go Go a club founded in 1964 which at one point regularly hosted The Doors, The Stooges, Led Zepplin and many other rock legends. The band has also been known to play various other popular clubs in the LA scene such as The Viper Room and the Mint.


Jed’s latest album, “The Beautiful Ones” which many have described as soulful alt-rock with an inspiring message and uplifting sentiments. Others have described the band as quality rock n’ roll with a sense of familiarity within their tight and clean sound. Their sound is propelled by their solid and dynamic rhythm driving each song.

“The Beautiful Ones” was recorded in Santa Monica, California at Jim Kaufman Productions. Jim performed as both the producer & mixing engineer. The album was mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet in New York. “The Beautiful One’s” is inspired by surviving the LA in a general sense which is why Jed’s music is so uplifting and heartwrenching simultaneously.
