Single Review: Soft Blue Lights|Tex Moonlight

Tex Moonlight, Neofolk singer/songwriter from L.A. has recently dropped a new single “Soft Blue Lights” off his anticipated record “Moonshot”. Tex Moonlight provides listeners with his own distinctive blend of Americana and electronica with psychedelic rock undertones which he calls “Americonica”.

Soft Blue Lights is a fresh combination of classic instrumentation and inventive modulation which give this track a fascinating hook that draws the listener in. Anyone can enjoy the steady melody combined with traditional song structure and gripping effects complete with cascading vocals found in this track.

Soft Blue Lights was released in February 2020 and was recorded at Invisible Sound Studios in Baltimore Maryland by producer and prestigious sound engineer Dave Nachodsky. Nachodsky has notably been awarded 2 Emmy’s for his work with Maryland Public Television and has worked directly as a touring live sound engineer and producer for Grammy award-winning Americana/Blues artist Keb’Mo’. The combination of Nachodsky’s technical skills and Tex’s distinctive songwriting talent make Soft Blue Lights a stunning song. “Soft Blue Lights” is available on SoundCloud, Spotify and on your favorite digital stores.
