Nowhere Wolves are a difficult band to pin down genre-wise; drawing influence and having similarities in certain sounds to bands like The Smiths, Buzzcocks, and The Replacements. Known for their dynamic on stage presence and unique song writing stemming from the members history and experience, Nowhere Wolves is crafting an experience for music lovers. The band is slated to release their debut full length album this November.

One of the best things about music blogging is getting to hear music before it’s released. It’s a lot of responsibility to keep it all under-wraps especially when it’s as good as what’s coming from Nowhere Wolves. But alas you must wait with a sweet rendition of Respect by Otis Redding hold you over until the anticipated release date coming up later this Autumn.

To celebrate the album release Nowhere Wolves will be playing at Mr. Small Funhouse November 13th. This event will feature other local acts Normal Creatures, Samurae, and The Stolen Stitches.

If you are in the Pittsburgh area be sure to pick up some tickets and stop by the release party and pick up a copy of the new album. Fans may also preorder the vinyl on bandcamp.
