Billy Krase | Comedian & Disability Rights Activist
Comedian and disability rights activist Billy Krase recently celebrated 1 year of performing stand-up comedy. Drawing influences from the likes of George Carlin, Brad Williams & Gabriel Iglesias Billy’s diverse comedy ranges from dark, deranged, and twisted, to uplifting and inspiring. After having family and friends push Billy to perform he decided to take the stage at The Keystone Stage in Olyphant, PA on his 24th birthday for his inaugural stand up set.

Billy praises The Keystone Stage for the wonderful opportunities to perform his comedy. In fact Billy will be performing his comedy live at The Keystone Stage (125 W. Lackawanna Ave. Olyphant, PA) on Friday April 19th. Tickets are $10 online at thekeystonestage.com or if you pick them up from Billy in person. But be sure to get those tickets presale as they will be $15 at the door.
Billy Krase lives with a condition called Spina Bifida (Latin for “split spine”) that has led him to become a disability rights activist, even writing his own series of children’s books. Penning the book “The FBI Adventures of Will Chair” and it’s second installment “Special Agent Will Chair: Non-Stop Adventure” Billy’s life experience shines through his work.
The FBI Adventures of Will Chair is the uplifting story of a disabled man who overcomes all obstacles to become the top ranked agent in his division. He goes onto fight some of the biggest cyberbullying cases and spread love and positivity as he goes.
Some of Billy’s comedy focuses on his personal experience with disability and he hopes to start a non-profit. Speaking about the disabled community daily, Billy believes, we as people should act as a community not a competition and stresses the importance of treating people kindly.
Billy does not let his disability get in the way of his love for comedy…yano…unless the stage is too high. All jokes aside Billy Krase is a kick ass comedian from the Scranton Pennsylvania area and is a regular at the V-spot open mic.
