May 2024 Monthly Round Up

Miniluv

The poetic hardcore emo-adjacent band from Denver, Miniluv has put out their latest single The Softest Nights are Never Silent. This single is the first promoting their upcoming concept album about the life of a dog called Grey. Blending lively drum beats over poetic lyrics, intermittent ripping guitar solos and even a hardcore breakdown, this track weaves together many genres to create something truly beautiful. Miniluv is currently out touring the east coast; keep an eye out for the album Grey from Miniluv dropping Friday May 24th.

NJ for Mental Health

As many of you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month and to celebrate we have a behemoth of a  collaboration from New Jersey for Mental Health. The group joined forces on this project to raise money for the Mental Health Association. This video was the combined effort of over 100 members of the New Jersey music Scene including contributions from 73 musical artists.

Moon Destroyer

Moon Destroyer is a new project based in Colorado Springs, Co. This brand-new project just released their first single Can’t Sleep. The new song is a captivating tale about, in short, an overactive and anxious mind dealing with the struggles of a one-sided relationship. An uncertainty of wondering about someone else; something many of us can relate to. We are very excited to see what Moon Destroyer does in the future.

Have a Good Season

Have a Good Season originated in 2013 and has since hit the local NJ scene hard. Now, after much hard work, they are currently finishing up their first major tour alongside Equipment from Ohio and Sweet Pill from Philadelphia. Have a Good Season (HAGS) discography includes 5 singles, 5 track EPs and a full length album titled Shapes I’ve Never Seen. All their songs are worth listening to. Have a Good Season’s latest single release “Shoes” also has a killer music video attached with it. “Shoes” hits so hard when I blast it in the car, you really feel and taste the rainbow when rocking out to Have a Good Season.
