Sarah Garlick – My Heart on a Platter

The alternative indie rock artist, Sarah Garlick also known under the moniker Euphoria, is simply that. Euphoric. This Colorado based musician is known locally in Colorado Springs hosting and playing shows in the area. Sarah Garlick truly speaks from the heart, an artist full of passion sending meaningful messages to the masses. 

Sarah Garlick released her first track in July 2024, My Heart on a Platter. Sarah recorded this track with producer THALLMP3. A music video is anticipated for this track; Sarah will be working with Kota (mothstoaflame) a portrait & fine art photographer based in Colorado. 

Although the 2024 single is the first solo release of Sarah Garlick she had previously collaborated with Pueblo based rapper & lyricist, Broson. The duo came together to record and produce I Want U, the closing track of Broson’s 2024 album Story Be Told.

Sarah Garlick, a musician based in collaboration & community, created a google form aimed at putting together shows with other musicians. Sarah hosts many shows within the Colorado Springs area including Friskys, Ultra Flat Black & Wagon Wheel and wants to continually book diverse shows. 

Sarah Garlick lives with chronic illness; which is undoubtedly tough. Oftentimes those with chronic illness have their futures shattered, or at least altered to a degree. Those living with chronic illness often have to face harsh realities and Sarah is very open about her health journey. Sarah chooses not to lose out on her life and chooses to do things that make her happy, which of course includes music. Some things that have helped Sarah specifically are  mindfulness, meditation & therapy.

In short -Get a therapist, people! Therapy is maintenance, nothing has to be “wrong” or “broken”; get it out with someone objective. Friends make life worth living, but your friends can be biased. Therapists care in an objective way. Sarah Garlick also praises the importance of meditation; which many can find difficult to begin. Catch Sarah Garlick on New Years Eve at Wagon Wheel in Colorado Springs. Sarah will be performing with Qori, another very talented and community oriented Colorado Springs based musician. For the special New Years Eve event doors open at 10:30 PM the event will last from 11 PM to 1 Am and will feature performances by Sarah Garlick & Qori as well as a live jam session. Tickets are available online and are $10.00 advance or $15.00 at the door.
