April Open Mic Events

The Mad Indie Media Open Mic continues this spring with an event being held every week in April! We’re excited about the little community of musicians, poets, comedians, creatives, and hobbyists we have nurtured around awesome local businesses and the freedom of expression. We are looking forward to the many events this month! Mad Indie Media prides itself on supporting performers and cultivating a safe and friendly environment for creatives to share their talents. We hope to see you in attendance singing along, sharing your talents, supporting local businesses and cultivating an expressive and supportive community!

Ma & Papa Joe’s, Port Jervis NY – April 6th – 6:00 PM

April 6th at 6:00 PM join us at Ma & Papa Joe’s at 105 Pike St in Port Jervis NY Ma & Pa’s serves bottled, canned and draft beers, canned seltzers, cocktails and some delicious tacos in honor of taco Thursday. In addition Ma & Pa’s will also be offering special; cans of domestic beer for $2.50. All attendees must be 21+ with a valid form of ID; all skill levels and abilities are encouraged to perform! 

Log Tavern Brewing, Milford PA – April 12th – 5:30 PM

April 12th visit Log Tavern Brewing located at 309 E. Hartford st in Milford PA! Log Tavern Brewing CO offers an array of delicious beer; there are also select cocktails, wine, soda, seltzer, and food available at Log Tavern. The limited menu features finger foods including, empanadas, personal pizzas, hot soft pretzels and more! Log Tavern is family friendly and dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area.

Dad’s Change of Pace, Port Jervis NY – April 19th – 7:00 PM

Dad’s Change of Pace, a hometown favorite bar often referred to simply as “Dad’s”, is located at 172 Pike St in Port Jervis NY. Dad’s offers an assortment of typical mixed drinks that you find at any sport’s bar as well a variety of canned, bottled and draft beers, including pints of select beer for $3.00. 

Dad’s Change of Pace also offers limited food including pizzas, hot pretzels and unlike many other bars in the area Dad’s will stay open to 4:00 AM on busy nights however they are subject to closing as early as 2:30 AM. Dad’s also offers a rotating special drink menu, and on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays serves hot dogs with all the trimmings (kraut, chili, cheese and onions). On Wednesday’s from noon to 7 Dad’s Change of Pace serves delicious pirogies.

Dad’s is a great venue to sit back, relax and have a few drinks with good company and watch your favorite live sporting events or just to just hangout and play pool. Dad’s also hosts live music about once a month

Sidestreet Bar & Grill, Dingmans Ferry, PA – April 25th – 6:00 PM

Side Street Bar & Grill is welcoming all musicians, comedians, poets & performers on April 25th at 6:30 PM. The sizable and welcoming sports bar serves a variety of draft, canned & bottled beer, seltzers, ciders, cocktails, and wines as well as an extensive menu featuring classic bar grub, some Italian style menu items, and first-rate American fare. 

Sidestreet Bar & Grill will have their usual Taco Tuesday special of tacos & margaritas. Sidestreet Bar & Grill offers a lunch special menu Tuesday – Sunday 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM as well as an all hours menu including burgers, sandwiches, wings, wraps, salads, soups, flatbreads and more! 

Side Street Bar & Grill is located at 124 Dingman’s Ct in Dingmans Ferry PA, 18328. The bar is accessible via Dingman’s Pl. adjacent to Dingmans Medical Center.

All performers are encouraged to arrive early as sign-ups will be available on a first come, first-served basis. Please come prepared with 15 minutes worth of material; any questions please email info@madindiemedia.com. All skill level abilities of performers are welcome to join!
