Reminiscent Wounds | Indie-punk Inspired Post-Hardcore

Reminiscent Wounds is an emerging Alt/punk post-harcore band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Starting as a side project by drummer Joe and bassit Aiden, later joined by guitarist and vocalist Spencer to form the band that you see before you today. 

The trio began writing and recording together, their lyrics and melodies often delve into themes of personal introspection and emotional resilience, resonating with fans of alternative and post-hardcore music.

Don’t let the genre fool you, Reminiscent Wounds takes all sorts of influence from genres such as shoegaze, indie, and punk. The band has released 3 singles in 2024 PTSD (Post Traumatic Sex Disorder), The Gallows, and most recently Wicket Ones for a nice spooky Halloween feel. 

On first listen to The Gallows you may be surprised thinking you’re listening to an indie rock band up until the screams. Reminiscent Wounds offers listeners a fresh take on a classic genre; breathing new life into a chaotic genre. 

We recently had the opportunity to meet up with and interview Reminiscent Wounds at the Volt of Vultures. 

Reminiscent Wounds most recent shows shook up the Black Buzzard on November 7th and
