Dog Party Interview | Dangerous Tour

Dog Party the Dangerous duo of Californian sisters are out on tour promoting their new album Dangerous. The pair stopped into Vultures in Colorado Springs to play a show and we were able to speak with the band about the new album and this tour. 

Veterans of the scene Dog Party has been touring for over a decade and this time promoting the new album, Dangerous which was released on May 17th on Sneak Dog Records.

Sneak Dog Records is an independent DIY record label run by Gwennie and Lucy of Dog party as well as their friend Lizzie Killian of Teens in Trouble. The New Record Label, Sneak Dog, has released Dangerous by Dog party with much more to be excited about on the horizon. 

We were able to speak with Gwennie and Lucy of Dog Party ahead of their set at Vultures on Saturday July 20th 2024.

With the new record cam a series of music videos for both Last Night and Bullet in Disguise recently debuted and area available on Youtube.

The music video for Last Night was done by Jak Kerley aka Shibby Pictures. Shibby Pictures has worked with many great artists such as Apes of the State, Days n Daze and Crazy & the Brains; to create some cult classic music video such as Misanthropic Drunken Loner by Days N Daze.

Dog party from California, embodied those warm sunny California vibes driving around in a stylish classic car owned by Katie Rose, owner of the Kilowatt Bar and venue in San Francisco.

Debut single for Dangerous, Bullet in Disguise also saw a clever music video released/ The video was directed by Aja Pop from Aja Pop Films she has done work with Soul Glo and Teens in Trouble. This cinematic Tarantino-esque video employs a different classic car.

Dangerous was a carefully thought out project instead of in the past having to juggle multiple life responsibilities; much time and focus was dedicated to the creation of this album and it shows.
